Ok, I See a Loading Icon and It Keeps Spinning; What Do I Do?

Troubleshooting Tips: What to Do When You See a Spinning Loading Icon

Do you ever find yourself staring at a loading icon that just keeps spinning endlessly? It's a frustrating experience, especially when you're trying to log in or launch an app window. But fret not, there are simple steps you can take to refresh and reset things quickly.

Using Keyboard Shortcuts to Refresh

When faced with a stuck loading icon, a quick and effective way to refresh the app is by using keyboard shortcuts. Simply hold down either the control or command key, and simultaneously press 'R' for a few seconds. You'll notice that the screen pauses for a moment. When you release the keys, voila! The app should reload itself, hopefully resolving the issue.

Alternative Method for App Reload

For Mac users, there's another handy way to force a reload. In the top left corner of the app window, look for the 'Task Magic' option (for Windows users, the equivalent option may vary). Click on 'View' and then select 'Force Reload'. This action will trigger a complete reload of the app, potentially fixing the stuck loading icon.

In conclusion, encountering a persistent loading icon doesn't have to be a roadblock. By utilizing these troubleshooting tips, you can easily refresh the app and get back to smooth sailing in no time.

So anytime we end up with a stuck loading icon in the app, whether it's when we're logging in. or when we're launching a window, um, things like that inside of this main app here. What we can do to quickly refresh and reset things is hold either control or command R for a few seconds. And we'll see that this screen pauses for a second.

And then when we let go of this, we should see the app reload for us. We can also click in the top left, especially on Mac. Um, I'm not sure exactly for windows. It will say task magic for you here, but you'll be able to click on, um, view, and then you can click force reload. And this will also allow you to completely reload the app.
