How to include the first name when adding a note to a connection request for Linkedin

If you want to add a a first name when adding a note to you connection request. This article will explain what’s needed and how to do that.

When automating connections on Linkedin there’s an option to add a note. So when the contact receives and accepts the connection request, the added note will immediately pop up. To make this happen, you will need to have the correct data in your spreadsheet and have it formatted properly. This article is a step-by-step guide on how to include a first name with your initial connection request. To start you need to make sure you have the direct URL links and the names of each Linkedin contact in a spreadsheet. Highlighted in the picture below.

You can use our Linkedin sourcing automation to scrape contacts from Linkedin and paste them to a google sheet. When pasting names, it will initially paste with first and last name. The first and last name will need to be split into separate columns if you want to include a first name only in your message.
