VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
This is just a little bit different for me compared to you because of the that are popping up compared to the group. So I didn't want to send you another email about, Hey, try this now. Hey, try this now. Hey, try this now. And let's keep going down that path. Um, the hop on quickly. Cause I think this will be a really quick adjustment.
Um, if you have the task magic app and share your screen, I can kind of walk you through how we're going to do this just because it's being really picky about me using your cookies. Um, I'm going to hopefully trying to do this from your side. Otherwise, um, I'll do it from my side. And, uh, if there's a cookie problem, at least we'll be able to figure it out right now.
So you want me to try to present now? Yeah, if you can. Okay. Entire screen, right? Yep.
Perfect. And then if you could open the app and then, uh, so that's the latest automate, the one tag latest is going to be the one that I've updated. Um, the furthest, there may be a couple adjustments we're going to make. I just want us to kind of go through that. So. If you can, we're going to use, um, a slightly different version of the cookies.
It's a new feature that we released. Um, so if you can do me a favor, if you can click settings on the left. And then, uh, Chrome profile links, what this is doing is this is setting up a dedicated profile for your automations to use, which will help if you're using Facebook across multiple logins that you aren't getting logged out a ton.
So let's click create profile and then this is basically the same exact process as adding your cookies. You can name this whatever you can name it, you know, Jason's profile. If you're planning to do other people, things like that.
And then let's go grab your cookies from ChatGPT and Facebook, and then we'll paste those here, um, and then all of your automations that are going to be using ChatGPT or Facebook with your profile, we'll be able to just connect to this profile instead of you needing to go and grab the cookies for each one or anything like that.
Okay, so here's Facebook. And copy your cookies. Boom. Perfect. And then let's do chat GPT.
Add extra cookies. Boom. Perfect. And then go ahead and click create. Um, you don't need to grant workspace access or anything. That's for if you wanted other people in your workspace to be able to use your profile, which maybe you want to, but that isn't relevant right now. Okay. Now let's go back to the automation that we made.
It's the one that has the arrow. So Navica to MLS, the latest tag, that top one top one. And then let's go to advanced settings on the left and then manage cookies. And then this is how we link that profile. You're going to click use a shared chrome profile. And then it is going to, it only has one option.
So it selected that for you and then we'll click save. So that's kind of a, um, it's another version of the cookies. It's kind of, it's better if it's social media platforms that you do this for. Um, but you may not want to use that profile for every automation, right? If you're running it for another. Um, team members, Facebook, you don't want them using your Facebook login.
So that's what we would use someone else's cookies. Just to clarify, I know we went over cookies a ton. I don't want you to make it. I don't want to make it sound like it's completely gone. That's just like a more advanced version that I think you're getting to, because you're going to be using, you know, all of these Instagram automations we were talking about.
Um, that's why I'm kind of putting us down this path. Okay, cool. Now go ahead and click the green plus icon. Um, and then record it's between all of the steps. Any of those. Oh, just right here. Yep. And then you'll click record. And this is just so that we can, um, I'm doing this so that we can run specific steps that we can find what we need to add.
We know that the Navica part is fine. We know that the chat CPT part is fine. Um, we just need to add a couple of steps to Facebook. So on the left over there, if you can scroll down until we see our go to page on Facebook step, um, I don't remember which it is. It's going to be step five there. If you can click the play icon next to step five, Perfect.
So this is like, uh, this is think of it as kind of play steps, but it's also kind of recording. This is how you can pick and choose recording a step versus playing a step instead of you just clicking play steps and watching the entire automation run out. Sorry, I get that aloud, but that was just by force of habit.
No, that's totally fine. Um, we actually, it's a great thing. It's something we get a lot of questions about. Um, those browser pop ups, although they're very annoying and annoying. Obviously your first instinct is to handle them. It doesn't affect the page. Um, at least very rarely would it ever affect anything on the page.
So even though it's annoying and you want to click it, that's totally fine. If your automation doesn't click it, that's not a problem at all. It doesn't need to address it. Um, I think you just have it feel like you need to type the thing, uh, which is very normal. Okay. And then let's scroll down a little bit until Facebook step that is posting, which is going to be, this is all of our Novica steps.
So we'll scroll down a little bit more. I'll tell you when we're there. Um, keep scrolling. Keep scrolling is all of our scrape stuff. Um, it's going to be it's probably around like 16. 15 around there ish Um, okay, that's telling chat gpt we can keep scrolling down that's waiting clicking something go ahead and keep going Um that's scraping it.
Perfect. I think this is where we're gonna be. Um, can you click? Uh, can you scroll up a little bit? Sorry, and I think we're gonna run 16. Okay, so 16. 21 That's us posting our photos. I believe we don't need to run One yet because, um, long story short, because we're not running all of the steps of scraping images.
When we click play here, it's not gonna have anything to upload. Um, and that's not it doesn't matter a ton for what we're trying to add to this automation. If you can click play next to step 16. 23. I'm hoping this is what opens up that what's that's what's on your mind. Uh, pop up. Or the post, um, or it might be, let me see, I forget which step is opening the pop up in your automation.
Um, one second.
Yeah, so like last time I ran it, um, oh, task magic is going to update. Let's, uh, let's click exit recording on the left. You should be able to click that. And then, um, we can go address that pop up. Cool. And then while you do that, let me actually Let me try to just do this from my side while you're updating anyways.
And then if we have a cookie issue, we will figure that out. Okay, so let me see if I can log in fine.
Okay, cool. This is working for now. It's probably like a more of a time thing. That's getting us kicked out. Let me. Kick or sorry, let me share my screen so that you can see what I'm doing and I will find out how we're going to edit this automation. Um, this is also kind of if you have any questions about what I'm doing, I'll try answering them as I go again.
Kind of just trying to teach you whatever we can about things. Um, but let's see. We go here,
then so last time I posted, yeah, that's 16. 19 step was what actually, so it posted the chat verbiage, but it didn't post any photos. Here we go. That's it. I thought, I thought this was going to be the upload process, but that's what triggered this pop up. That makes sense. Um, okay. And then we're clicking this isn't, this is typing that because we didn't run, right?
So I don't want that to be scary. This, this works when, when it runs and when it has something. Okay. Um, okay. And then next is. Oh, this is because a lot of your things have that pop up that opened. You see how there was like a suggestion right here? Yeah. This is sometimes affecting what we're trying to type.
Um, or when we're trying to click next, that pop up was in the way. Um, which I guess it didn't pop up again this time. This step is just to Um, to get rid of that pop up. It's not super important. So just check in there. This is uploading the files. Okay, then here and then you see those additional checkboxes for all star homes already homes and also want to post to personal.
We want personal and those other three. So I think we want to disable this step. Then you don't want to deselect personal. Um, is there ever, I'm just going to leave that disabled for now. Um, if you ever wanted to make it not post to your profile, this is what you can enable to make that happen, but that's besides the point.
Um, okay. And the, the 3, uh, the 3 businesses. Okay, perfect. So this step was purposely D selecting it. So now that it's disabled, it will remain enabled. So we're okay there. Now, um, then this should be the 1st group 2nd group. I added these steps. I just really was not positive that this was going to work because I couldn't.
Make the same exact thing. Oh, okay. But cool. So it looks like I was able to get most of it. Correct. Except for two more groups. So I'm just recording a new click step. Now it's funny because the all star homes realty Inc, once you get that third one, it'll never let me do that fourth one. If you can get the fourth one.
Great. If not, I'm not worried about the fourth one. Uh, it's very weird. Yeah. I mean, this isn't going to be something I can really overrule, but I can try to figure out why Facebook isn't letting you. And that's totally fine. I. The fourth one doesn't really bother me at all. Yeah, the the rule of thumb is if the website doesn't ever let you do it.
We probably can't let you do it And that's fine. I'd rather have the old one or the other then okay, so you'd rather have I mean, I wonder This is just not going to click Yeah. Okay. So I will, yeah, that was disabled. This step. I'm going to name this one. Select group three, right? Third group. I'm going to need this one group for select group for the reason I'm doing this is because if you add a new page, this list is going to change most likely.
Right? So I want you to know what's clicking what, because maybe, um, the way that this shifts, you want to disable, you want to enable that and disable this now, Just just so that you're aware of this again. I want you to be able to manage your automations, obviously. Um, even though I'm happy to help now here, this is clicking our this is for testing.
So we're going to disable that and enable this. The reason we have this is because when I was running all these tests, I didn't want to post to my profile a ton. Um, so I recorded a click of this close button instead of the post button so we can toggle between them for like testing verse. We're ready to go.
Okay, and then so this would click post. I'm not going to go through with that right now. Um, but then that's the rest of the automation. I think these are some reset steps on the side. So if I click I'm done, let's go ahead on your side. If you can share your screen again, don't click play steps yet. Um, because we were in the same automation, it might not load the changes.
But if you can open the task magic app again, or is it still installing? Oh, there we go. Okay. Um, If you can hold down control are for like three seconds really quick. I just want to make sure that it absolutely loads the changes since we're in the admin side here. And now you can go ahead and click latest the one tag latest and then let's click play steps and we should see everything go through.
Um, everything, I guess that would be awesome, you know, and it would be a really good birthday present because today's my birthday. Oh, happy birthday. I apologize. You have to look at automations on your birthday, but this is this is progress. I'm good.
All right. So I think this is our, we have that delay step as long as we didn't edit that at all. That is waiting for cloud flare. Yeah. I don't know if I showed you that specific setting instead of us having like a three minute wait time, it now waits. Oh, cool. And it does add that text. Okay, that purple text saying it should say task magic, not TM.
I realize that now. Um, I get that. That doesn't make any sense to anybody else. Um, except me reading it. So I will make sure that says task magic and that is a little bit clear. Cool. All right, so we're just waiting for cloudfire not to be a pain.
I guess while we're waiting for this, what were the other ones that we did want to, um, I want to get make sure this is 100 percent done for you. So I won't build anything else until this is done. But the other ones I think we were talking about pretty much Instagram scraping follow bot and probably messages.
It would have sounded like. Cool. Is there anything that like stands out about that? Like, for example, we had some people that, I don't think this applies to you, um, but they had like, depending on how many followers the person has, they send a different message. I don't think that really applies in your scenario at all.
Um, my goal is to reduce. My, uh, reduce the people that I'm following and increase my followers. Okay. Pretty simple then. So that I can just get a broader, a broader base. And, and when I post it, you know, I want to get up to the 10, And then I just hired an agent to come to my brokerage. And if I get into those kinds of numbers and we can do some social media posts, it's my understanding that when you get into those kinds of numbers.
Instagram will actually maybe even pay you for your content or or you can get into some kind of payment structure. I don't know. We'll see. I know that they do that a lot. I think what I see, um, commonly for realtors is, um, that type of payment coming from like educational content. Like for example, like I, and I, again, I don't know real estate enough, but like what I see a lot and probably just cause I fit that demographic is like a lot of first time home buyer content.
I know nothing about the process. So it's just realtors spitting out that content. And those views are all what kind of gets. Then those payments from those socials. So I, it makes sense to get all your followers and then push content there. And I think that would be pretty solid. That's exactly right.
Cool. So we went and got through that chat CPT step. Um, hasn't been changed on Navica, so we're still good there. And then, um, we should be good on going to active and everything.
Did that Facebook tab not stay logged in? I think that's because I, um, that's probably the whole system switching. It looks like that Facebook tabs. Log in or sign up, so we probably weren't logged in there. Um, and again, I think that's because of this whole back and forth with the systems, just because Facebook is seeing you logged in, then I logged in, and then you logged back in.
Um, so I think they rejected that. So what I want to see here is, let's make sure that it goes through the rest of the process with, um, ChatGPT here, just scraping this. Um, but it's going to fail when it gets to Facebook, since we don't have those cookies. Uh, I just want to make sure we don't have to change anything before we watch it do all of this again.
Okay, not have everything. If that makes sense.
Nice part about AI is we can give it really ugly content and it can still handle it. So that's a nice post. You don't have to be 100 percent perfect. 90 percent awesome. Yes. Yeah. Okay, cool. So let's go ahead and stop this because it's not going to be able to go through these steps. So you can click the right there and stop and then the close icon.
And then, um, and again, this is because of me. I, Okay. I would have to be very, I'm not 100 percent sure, but if I had to put any money on anything, it's because you logged in, I logged in, you logged in, and we're probably pretty far apart location wise, um, that Facebook that threw Facebook off. So let's go grab our Facebook cookies again, um, go ahead and click refresh really quick just to make sure Facebook isn't going to log you out or anything.
Cool. Okay. And let's click the edit this cookie again and we can grab our cookies and then let's go back to task magic So instead of adding them here We're going to go to that chrome profile that we if you go to the settings button Um on the far left and then chrome profile settings And so this is what's also really nice about this is let's say your facebook got logged out on all your automations You only update it in one place now, um instead of doing it for every automation So there will be an edit icon when you hover over this.
It's that middle one You And then let's go ahead and click, um, add extra cookies and this will overwrite the other Facebook ones and we can click save. And then, um, this is a just a quick way to test this. I just want to double check the first icon when you hover over that is a it launches a chromium window with that profile.
So let's click that really quick and then let's go to facebook. com and just make sure that this profile is 100 percent logged into again so that we don't have to wait for it to run 20 steps to find that answer out. Perfect. Um, cool. Okay. Now that text should be black on the right there. But do you see where it says closed browser under the new Chrome profile button back in the task magic window?
It's it definitely shouldn't be black. So I don't blame you for having to take a second to see it. Yeah, that definitely should have been white. So apologies for that. Um, click that. And that just closes that window that we had, um, that window. It doesn't, it's, it's just like a incognito window with that profiles cookies.
So, um, what that's common is like, you can go back to the automation and click play steps here while I rant about this. Um, go to the latest. And then play steps. So the reason we have that it's, it's kind of a good feature kind of just exists for various reasons. But, um, things like chat GPT, for example, you'll start getting verified a lot faster as you run this automation 123 times, things like that, but other platforms still sometimes are really picky about bot detection stuff.
They call it bot detection. And a lot of times it's just like, we're unsure Really? Um, and so what a lot of users have done if they're having trouble with bot detection, not that it's super common, just if you're having trouble is they launch that chromium window like I just and just use it for 30 minutes, like just be a normal person in the browser for 30 minutes.
And then you're going to be, it's going to be very hard to distinguish you from a fake user. Um, after that, you don't have to, but it's just like, if you're having a problem, just do 30 minutes of work in that browser. Okay. Um, and that kind of helps us, you know, look a little bit more real. That makes sense.
Got to have a lot of creative tricks. You're doing something they don't want you to do. I saw you're in Jeremy's post about, uh, how many steps you could do in an automation. And like you said, something about somebody had 169. Yeah, we had a, we had a bug report of you can't add more than 167 steps. And your automation is probably one of the largest I've built, I would say.
Okay. Um, I think I just wanted to keep it in one automation, but yeah, I mean, most of these, most of my automations are less than 10 steps, I would say, uh, because it's, you know, it's really direct things for your automation. Um, what I recommend a lot of beginners do is they split an automation. up. So you could have had one automation that scrapes Navica, one automation that makes posts on chat, GBT and one automation that makes posts on Facebook.
Um, and that's just a really easy way of separating it. If you're having a hard time bringing it all together. I see. My big rule with people is like, I don't think it's always worth going to 100 percent automation with what you're trying to do. I think that getting the 90 percent is extremely valuable sometimes, um, compared to spending, you know, hours building a perfect, solid automation If you just had to do five seconds of work instead of zero, it would have taken you, you know, 95 percent less time is kind of an ideal thing for me.
At least. Yeah, awesome. We could automate all of this. Um, yeah, this was a, this was a good scenario. I appreciate that. I, uh, yeah, I really want to gain a massive presence on Facebook and Instagram. And then I noticed that it's frustrating. You go into Twitter. And like, um, once you are hitting 5, 000 followers, like you're following 5, 000 people, you can't do any more.
So that's why the bot needs to come in and defollow all those people. And then I can follow more people, which will get my followers up. And then I can build that way. And that's why I want the bot as well for Twitter. Interesting. Yeah. And then, you know, Facebook, who knows if they're ever going to allow more than 5, 000 friends, right?
That's been there, I think, since, uh, since day one.
Alright, looking good. Taking Yeah, I would love to see these pictures post. Yeah, I definitely want to make sure that everything there is, uh, being copied. I know that we, I know it was a feature that we are absolutely supporting, so I see no reason why it doesn't work. Yeah, it looked really super good.
Do you have any questions, I guess, about, like, I know that there's a lot of things being done in the automation that probably don't make sense yet, but, like, are there any, like Are there any questions you have I could answer that like are related to how you'll build on this or like I guess is there anything at all you want to ask about this while we kind of watch it run that I could explain to you or has it made a little bit of sense with how much testing we've done?
Yeah, it's made, it's made more sense. And then like, for example, with all those items in chat GPT, you know, do I just manually go in and get rid of them? I don't need to keep all that stuff to it. Um, do you mean how like it's making a new conversation for them? Yeah, I mean, you you can remove them. It doesn't really matter.
It's Starting a new one each time, um, we could make a change there where it always goes to the same one, which is, is honestly a really good thing. If you spend some time training how you want it to post, like if you try telling it, you know how you want it to create content instead of it being new every time, um, that would be really good.
We, uh, we had one user, he built an awesome automation that was, uh, for lead generation. So what he does is he's a, he works for small startups and he focuses on them, like not losing monthly customers, right? Cause you get a thousand customers, you lose 800. That's no good. Um, and so what he did is he built an automation that goes to their website and takes a screenshot.
Then it goes to ChatGPT to determine if it's a good fit or not by pasting the screenshot and ChatGPT. Kind of interpreting some content on the page. So that's a really cool kind of process there. Um, did this get the images in it? I missed cause it had clicked next pretty quick, but I think it did. Did it dial?
I think dial, I think you nailed it. It, it just did. It got no, all right. Look at that. Um, and it did the three other businesses. I love it. And we, so, and we didn't, we, yeah, that was good. We only did three cause Facebook said you can't do the fourth, whatever reason. That's totally fine. Great. Great. Perfect.
And now it's just, it's just going to run through those. And what I really like about what you did about the listing, remember how we said listing provided by the listing broker, you took the listing name, you took their content, uh, or excuse me, their name, address, phone number, email, whatever you put all that in there as well.
Cause other brokers like to see their posting their listings posted, but they want to have. Recognition. So when you put all that great, this is, this is great, cool. Awesome. Well, it's great to hear. Well, we got plenty more to build. Um, at least now you get to see some excitement with task magic. You get to see it do some stuff for you.
Um, I promise one day you'll want to stop watching them run and you'll just click play steps and walk away from the computer. But it is nice watching it do it for a while. But that will happen. I promise. But yeah, yeah. Do you have any other questions for me? Otherwise, I'm going to circle back on our emails a little bit later and kind of see what the next ones we are going to build by.
Nope. That's great. Let's do that. Perfect. All right. Let me know if there's any hiccups again. Tons we can add to this. Tons we can change about it. I wouldn't expect any hiccups unless something changes about these websites. Yeah, because the next thing like for this, we would just clone it and we would just make it for Instagram or we would make it for Twitter or whatever.
Yeah. So what's really good about that, um, we'll make some changes to your automation. I'll explain this really quick and then, um, I'll hop off. Cause I do have an 1130. I need to hop on. Um, but what we can do is what we'll do is we'll scrape that post from chat GPT. And when we scrape it from chat, GPT, we'll post it to like a Google sheet or something that we can.
Then we can have one automation per social media, uh, platform that runs when a new row is added. So instead of it being like 168 step automation, we would have our Google sheet row added with the images and the content that we want to post. And then we would have five different automation start that are posting on the respective social media platform.
So we can do. Okay. Circle back around. Let's get an appointment again when you're available next week and we'll work on those three others. So thank you. Perfect. Yeah, if you can, by the way, um, actually, no, I'll set, I can set everything up with my Instagram profile. I was going to say add cookies for Instagram, but our profiles should be very, uh, similar there.
Um, I'll let you know if there's hiccups or we can go through this again to fix it, but cool. Good talking to you. I'm glad we were able to get this all working. Um, I'll, I'll email you later. Thank you, Kyle. Have a good day. Happy birthday again, by the way. Thank you. All right. Bye bye.
