VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

We can build an automation that scrapes Google maps by clicking on new automation and then web, and we don't need cookies for this example. Then the starting URL we're going to want is going to be maps. google. com. I think it changes actually to google. com slash maps or something. Um, but that's where I'll go.

At least maps. google. com. Yeah. Google. com slash maps. Then we can record a type step of our search up here. So I'm going to search dentist and then I'll confirm this step. And then I'll record a click step of the search button so that we can submit that search. Then we will see all of the lists or all of the results on the left here.

We don't want to scrape from this pane on the right here. We're going to want to use this left window here and scrape all of the details there instead. So I'll click scrape a list and then I'll select the name of the first Uh, facility, and then I'll select the second one and this will find the rest of the ones on the page.

We can then click add new column and select something else like the address. And we'll see the rest of those are identified as well. When we confirm that step, we'll see that we had two scrape list steps added since I added two columns. And this is going to be our automation that scrapes Google maps. We can grab other details if we wanted to, obviously.

By adding those other columns, if we click I'm done and then play steps, we'll see this automation run through the things that we just did and repeat the same exact search and grab those details.

And then at the end here, we'll be able to see all of the data that was scraped, which is the name and the addresses of those places.
