Unveiling the Power of "Buttons" in Cloud Automation

But what exactly is this "buttons" feature and how does it enhance your cloud subscription?

The "buttons add-on" essentially enables you to tap into the full potential of cloud automation. When activating an automation, you are presented with the choice to trigger it from either the desktop or the cloud. This distinction is crucial as it offers unparalleled flexibility in how you execute tasks.

By opting to turn on an automation from the cloud, you unlock the ability to run processes even when your desktop is offline. Imagine scenarios where a task, such as processing new form submissions or monitoring updates in a Google Sheet, demands continuous execution. In such cases, selecting the "turn on from cloud" option ensures that your automation remains active, regardless of your desktop's status.

This seamless integration between desktop and cloud operations empowers users to maintain a persistent workflow without constraints. Whether you are orchestrating complex data processes or simplifying routine tasks, the "buttons add-on" elevates your automation experience to new heights.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

Inside of the desktop app, we will see references to cloud hours or inside of our billing, we may see the buttons add on, which is going to be the cloud subscription. What the difference is there is when we turn on an automation, we have the option to select turn on from desktop or turn on from cloud.

And what this does is this allows us to run automations, even when our desktop is not on and open to the task magic app. So if we have something that is triggered by a new form submission or a new row added to a Google Sheet and that always needs to be running, we may want to turn that on from cloud, which again is that button subscription.
