VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

So once you know the steps that your automation is going to need to be completed, or at least an idea of how you want to go about recording this automation, you've gone through this in Chrome, um, and you have a good idea of the steps required to do whatever you want to do. We can create a browser recording by clicking new automation and then web.

Then we can click on whether or not we're using cookies. In this example, we're just going to build a quick Google search. So I'm going to click not on this one. And now all we need to do are repeat the steps that we would have normally done in Chrome. So in my example, I am going to quickly show you guys in Chrome here.

So while this loads, I'm just going to show you in my own Chrome browser. So what we can do here, actually, I'll just, yeah. Okay. So we'll go to google. com. This is the automation I'm going to build. Then we type dogs and then we click search and then we click images or something like that. That's what we're going to build at least.

So we can repeat these same exact steps in the recorder here. When we launched that new recording, it's going to look like this. Where we have the recording window on the left and then the browser window on the right. Oops, I didn't mean to do that. So first step, like we said, is going to be going to google.

com. Then once we're here, we're going to record a type step since that's the next step up. So I'll record a type step of clicking or typing dogs and then I'll click confirm. And then we can just click not sure for this next step is recording a click step and that's clicking Google search. And then we can confirm this.

And then the last step is clicking the images button. So we can confirm that one as well after recording that now to test our automation or work through it, make changes, et cetera. We can click the play icon next to steps to test each part of the process. So I'll click play here to go all the way back to Google.

And then we can click the play icon next to taping dogs. And then we can click the play icon on clicking search just to verify everything here is working correctly. Let's pretend that we found that this click step wasn't working. We could then delete this step and record a new step because we found that that process wasn't going to work the way we recorded it.

So I can rerecord this step again. And then we could also reorder these steps if we needed to, in any way. Let me close this so you can see that better. We can reorder these in any way, if they're recorded in the wrong order, or if you need to adjust any of your logic in those more complex flows.
