I sell access (a one-time use invite link) to a private Telegram channel using the WooCommerce Subscription plugin. By using make.com I was able to successfully automate a WooCommerce order (trigger) that connects to the Telegram bot, which generates a “one-time use invite link” (action: https://core.telegram.org/bots/api#chatinvitelink) and sends it back to the WooCommerce order, creating a new “Order Notes” (https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/#order-notes). Following that, WooCommerce notifies the customer about the new “Order Note” that has been created in their account.
How to Automate a WooCommerce Order to Connect to a Telegram Bot
Automating WooCommerce Orders with Telegram Bot Integration: A Step-by-Step Guide
Introduction:
In the world of e-commerce, streamlining processes and enhancing user experience are key to success. One interesting way to automate interactions is by connecting WooCommerce orders to a Telegram bot. This innovative approach allows you to generate one-time invite links and seamlessly communicate with customers. In this blog post, we'll walk you through the process of setting up this automation using Task Magic.
Setting the Scene:
Imagine selling access to a private Telegram channel through WooCommerce subscriptions. Now, picture a scenario where each order triggers the Telegram bot to generate a unique invite link and update the order note in WooCommerce. Sounds complex? Not with Task Magic!
Step 1: Trigger Setup
To kickstart the automation, we'll utilize the powerful triggers within Task Magic. You can choose between the webhook trigger or the WooCommerce trigger for new product or purchase events.
Step 2: Telegram Action
Once the trigger is in place, the next step is to configure the Telegram action. This action will handle the creation of the invite link that will be sent to the customer.
Step 3: Browser Recording
As there isn't a direct 'create order notes' action available, we'll leverage a clever workaround using browser recordings. By recording the process of updating the customer's note in WooCommerce, we can simulate this action seamlessly.
Step 4: Task Magic Automation
With all the components ready, it's time to orchestrate the automation flow using Task Magic. By setting up the necessary data inputs and configuring the trigger, you can initiate the process seamlessly.
Step 5: Enhancing Communication
In addition to updating the order note, consider enhancing customer communication by sending them an email with the access link using the Gmail action within Task Magic.
Conclusion:
By harnessing the power of automation and integrating WooCommerce orders with a Telegram bot, you can revolutionize the way you manage subscriptions and interact with customers. Task Magic provides a user-friendly platform to execute complex workflows with ease, offering endless possibilities for customization and efficiency.

So we had a question of, I sell access to a private telegram channel using WooCommerce subscription using make you were able to do this using a WooCommerce order trigger that connects to a telegram bot, which generates a one time invite link, then sends it to WooCommerce creating a new order note. So the way we can do that is inside task magic.
We can use either the web hook trigger or the WooCommerce trigger for the new product or new purchase. Then we have a telegram action for creating an invite link. Then because we don't have the create order notes action, what we would want to do is record a browser recording of this process where we go and visit that order number or however we can visit that inside our WordPress website.
Then inside of our browser recording, we can handle updating the Users are the customers note, um, again, using click steps, type steps and things like that, recording that in your WordPress website, we can trigger that flow to start and pass it the necessary data by using the task magic action. Typing it in there, selecting start automation, and then our browser recording using a web hook URL by selecting web hook in your trigger there.
Taking this URL and pasting it as the option here. Then we can send that data like the order URL, which then would pass in the WooCommerce order URL from this trigger or whatever else we have that allows us to pull up that customer's order and update it with this invite link. After we start that task magic automation, we could also use the Gmail action to send that customer an email about the access link that they were given.
