How to use TaskMagic to automatically front-end QA test your products (no code or otherwise).

You may be asking yourself “why you would need to do this if it’s such a simple task?”. The answer is simple. With our schedules, duplicating automations, and our emails sent to you in case of a step failing, you will always be in the loop if your page crashes during some essential steps to make your product successful.

If you’d rather read the documentation, these are the following steps. Getting Started - Capturing your automation.

 

We first need to start a new automation. Make sure you are in the right workspace you want this automation to run.

Once you press the “Capture automation” button our browser will pop up. Naviagte to the webpage you want to test. In this case, we will use our favorite page!

Once you navigated to the page, click on the buttons you want tested.

Double check it takes you to the desired page, if it does, you can stop the automaton (or you can continue your process, it'll work either way!).

Once you’re satisfied with the steps you’ve recorded, you can now press play and see the magic happen.

After you see the magic happen in front of your eyes in real time you should see the following notification if everything went well.

You can now relax and forget about the buttons on your page failing. In case it does, we’ll let you know with our email notification.
