How to Use Multiple Profiles When Automating Social Sites like Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn

Unlocking the Power of Multiple Profiles for Social Media Automation

Have you ever found yourself juggling multiple profiles on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn? Managing different accounts can be a hassle, but fear not, we've got some tips to make your life easier.

The Challenge of Managing Multiple Profiles

In our quest to simplify the process, we discovered a common practice of exporting cookies to switch between profiles. This method seemed promising, but we soon encountered a roadblock.

The Cookie Conundrum

When exporting cookies from different profiles, we noticed a key identifier - the C user. This identifier determines the user's identity, whether it's Kyle, Isaac, Jeremy, or anyone else.

Unveiling the Issue

While the C user remained consistent across profiles, a new player emerged - the I user. This secondary identifier only surfaced when switching to a different profile, causing discrepancies in the cookie data.

The Road to Resolution

The presence of the I user posed a challenge for seamless profile switching. Platforms like Facebook use these identifiers to restrict account switching, leading to errors and confusion.

Conclusion

In conclusion, our exploration into managing multiple profiles uncovered nuances in cookie data that impact automation strategies. While the process may seem straightforward, understanding the intricacies of user identifiers is crucial for successful profile management.

Hey, so this is all the stuff we don't want you guys to have to worry about with managing this, but this is what you were doing in here is you have your Facebook profile that you're logged into and then you'd go ahead and switch to another one. Um, if I remember right from your video, then you'd export the cookies from this one and that's how you were trying to switch accounts.

And that's almost, that's exactly how I would try doing it. The problem is, so these are the exported cookies just so I can show you exactly what's happening. Not that we ever want you to dig into this stuff. Uh, not that you ever should. So if I export cookies from my main profile and the profile that I switched to, this is that, so this is my main profile and then this is that other profile we'll see when I export this, that there's this C user, and I don't know exactly what this is doing.

This is me giving you an example of what I think the first thing it's doing is. Um, this C user is telling us who we are. It's Kyle. It's Isaac. It's Jeremy, whoever it is. Now, if I export from my profile and influencer direct, this value stays the same, which I trimmed it so that you can't see exactly what it is, but that value stays the exact same for the C user.

However, a little bit further down in the cookies, there's this I user that only exists when you switch to somebody else. We'll see that I use her over here. If I search for this and this cookie, it doesn't exist. There's no results. And that's because I was the main user. So when you export cookies from multiple profiles, they still have this same main user, which is what Facebook was using to say that you, um, you can't do this.

Basically something is wrong. Something feels off.
