Mastering Message Editing in Automation: A Step-by-Step Guide
Have you ever needed to make changes to the messages you've typed in your automation but didn't know how? In this guide, we will walk you through the process of editing messages step by step.
To edit a type step in our automation, you can start by clicking on the black portion of the type box or the three dots. This action will open up the editing interface, allowing you to make changes to the text inside the type step. Whether you need to correct a typo or update the message content, this feature gives you the flexibility to customize your messages as needed, even while recording your automation process.
When working within the guided window of your automation tool, all your steps will be displayed on the left side. This setup allows you to easily locate the specific message you want to edit, make the necessary changes, and then execute the updated sequence by clicking the play icon. This feature enables you to test your edits in real-time, ensuring that your messages are accurate and aligned with your automation goals.

Step 1-Click on Three dots of Type step—Click on Edit
Step 2- Edit the text in the box —Click on Save
Step 3- Click on type step
Step 4- We can also edit the text from here—Click on Save

To edit a type step in our automation, we can click on the black portion of the type box here or the three dots and then edit to see this edit type pop up that shows this will allow us to edit the text inside of that type step to be whatever we want. In case we wanted to update that. We can also do this while we're recording.
So inside of the guided window, when we launched this on the left here, we will see all of our steps appear on the left. We can repeat the same steps here of editing this and then clicking the play icon to execute that in the browser. If we wanted to test that in real time.
