So one option that we have as a trigger is going to be the schedule trigger, which is almost identical to the list trigger as well. They both have the scheduling functionality. The difference between the two is that the schedule is allowing you to specify one single Google sheet row to grab at a time or none.

And then the list trigger is allowing you to loop over some steps as well as loop over data from a Google Sheet and increment your way or move your way through that list. Um, so you can go through, let's say, send 10 messages every hour on a list of 10, 000 usernames, if that makes any sense. Allows you to loop through that.

You've probably seen tutorials for this if you're looking to use this trigger. Anyways, when we set up the schedule trigger, we have a couple of different options. We have five minutes, 10 minutes, 15, 30, an hour, every other hour day, every other day week, and then custom. What this is allowing us to do is specify when the automation will be fired to run.

So if I was to select five minutes, this means that my automation is going to try to run and start every five minutes. We can also have that for 10 minutes, 15, 30, an hour. And we also have these time constraints when we get to these smaller increments here. Again, all this means is that your automation is going to be triggered to fire every hour, or again, every other hour, depending on what you select here, you can add time constraints so that when it fires every other hour, every hour, you add a little bit of additional restriction, such as only running between 9am and 5pm.
