Inside of the guided window, we have an option to scroll down and the main differences between this is when you add this step to your automation, you have the opportunity to either record or not record this, um, depending on when you're adding this from the reason that's going to matter is sometimes we want to scroll down the entire page like this to load more posts and other times we may want to scroll inside of a specific pop up like this followers one that I'll open really quick.
Where instead of scrolling behind the page, we want to make sure that the page happens in, or the scroll happens inside of this pop up here. So to do that, we can click the plus icon and then add a scroll down step. Then we're going to click on the box that we're expecting to scroll in. So I can get as close as possible here to This actual container that we see here, this actual gray box.
Um, but if we're having issues with that, we can click outside, which I am. So I'm just going to click out here. And then when I scroll, we'll see the app, um, find the best match of what we want to scroll. Inside of I'll confirm this step, and then we can just decide how many seconds it should scroll for.
And then to test this, I can click the play icon and we'll see that the app scrolls inside of that pop up and not on the page behind us. Again, if we wanted to add another version, that's just going to scroll down the main page. We can add that just from the menu here after we've saved our automation by clicking plus, and then scroll down this again, this is the pop up that I'm talking about.
Now. Um, this is going to allow you to scroll just down the entire main page. That works in some scenarios. Other scenarios, you're going to want to record that step.
