Understanding RPA: A Comprehensive Guide to Robotic Process Automation
What is “RPA”, or Robotic Process Automation
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) simplifies complex processes by automating repetitive tasks through the use of bots. It involves a series of steps where bots mimic human interactions with digital systems.
How RPA Works
RPA involves a bot following a set sequence of steps to perform tasks. For example, the bot can navigate to a webpage, click on specific elements, input data, and execute commands. This process is fully automated and eliminates the need for human intervention.
Automation vs. Manual Processes
One key benefit of RPA is its ability to streamline operations by automating tasks that would otherwise be performed manually. By delegating routine tasks to bots, organizations can enhance efficiency and accuracy in their processes.
Comparison with Traditional Applications
Unlike traditional applications that interact with websites by making API calls, RPA directly engages with the user interface. This distinction allows RPA to perform actions like clicking and typing, similar to how a human user would interact with a system.
Conclusion
Robotic Process Automation revolutionizes the way businesses handle repetitive tasks by introducing automation solutions that mimic human actions. By leveraging RPA, organizations can increase productivity, reduce errors, and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency.

Steps
Step 1- Click on Go to page- Click on click step- write something on google search and Click on Confirm
Step 2- Click on Type Step
Step 3- Type Dogs in google search box —Click on Confirm
Step 4- When we click on play icon of type step it gives the result in browser window
Step 5-We can also do it through App step
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
RPA is Robotic Process Automation. So we can think of that as a series of steps that a bot is going to do. I think is the easiest way we can simplify that. This can be something like, for example, we go to a page, and then we click something, and then we type something, etc. We have some sort of Process to follow.
And that is a completely automated, um, process and it's, something is going in clicking, for example, when I click, uh, when I type this and I enter dogs, for example, and say, confirm, and then we play this step. This is a robot typing this action, um, performing whatever. I guess process we gave it. If we want to be very literal with everything we have there, the difference between this and something like an app step, if we look at these is one is interacting with the website by clicking and typing and doing things on it, where the other one is making a call to that website, similar to how you use web hooks to make something happen.
