The auto-follow template streamlines the process of following users by allowing you to input a list of usernames from a Google sheet. On the other hand, the unfollow flow automates the task of unfollowing users from the provided list. These initial steps are crucial for gathering a list of usernames for further interactions.

Direct Messaging on Instagram Made Easy

One of the noteworthy features of the Instagram guided templates is the direct messages flow. This functionality enables users to send messages to others, even if they are not following back. While the messages may appear in the recipients' unread or general inbox, it facilitates direct communication on the platform.

So inside of the desktop app, if you click on new automation and then guided templates, we have an Instagram section here that has Instagram specific tutorials on things like scraping, following, unfollowing, and messaging users. Um, so we'll probably add some more things like commenting and liking in here.

But you have an all things get started for Instagram. So you can start kind of building out these engagement flows, um, account growth, user generation, et cetera. The auto follow template specifically is allowing you to provide a list of usernames from a Google sheet. Um, and the automation will go through that entire list and follow each user.

The unfollow flow is gonna do the exact opposite. It'll go through that list and unfollow each user. This is the initial scraping flow that most users are gonna start with so that they can get that list of usernames to work with. And then we have an Instagram direct messages flow. Um, which works best if you can get people to follow you back.

However, there, this flow works specifically by allowing you to DM people, even that, um, even when they aren't following you, although it may show up in their unread or their, um, general, whatever Instagram calls it, still allows you to direct message that person.
