Step 1-  Click on New Automation to record

Step 2- Click on Guided Templates

Step 3- Click Start Here, that will take us to task magic form fillup

Step 4- Click on Continue to get type step that allows to record typing in the form

Step 5- Type in the Name column -Submit—Click on Yes to record

Step 6- Again Click on type -Fill the email address- Confirm and submit

Step 7- When the first Automation is ready – Click on Continue—Click on I m done

Step 8- Click on Play button to run the automation

All right, let's go through the start here guide. So from the guided templates, uh, which if we're not here already, we can click new automation and then guided templates.

Then we will select start here, which is going to take us through the task magic, uh, form fill so that we can get an idea of how the tool works. record some steps, see it run, things like that. So we're going to open up to this form. Um, and again, just for the sake of recording this, uh, we can learn a little bit about how the recorder works, what it's trying to do and how we can expand to build much more complicated and cool automations.

So this again, really simple stuff, just letting you know, you're going to record steps and then confirm it. But we'll go through that now. I'll just go ahead and click continue here. Next, um, again, the tutorial is instructing us that we're going to fill out the form using some click and some type steps.

Next, I'll click continue. And we're on to the first one, which is recording this type step. So to type something on the page, which we want to do here, typing our name, email, and what we want to automate, um, that's going to require a type step to be recorded compared to things like click, scrape single, Hover, things like that.

So I'll go ahead and click type here. And now on the right we'll see that we should click something and then start typing. So I'm gonna go ahead and click right here where it says John Smith and I'll type Kyle Wilson. And we'll see that what I'm typing is being recorded down here. Then I'll click confirm and now this step has been added.

I'll go ahead and click, not sure what you guys can do to, um, this is just helping you set up variables, which happens a little bit later down the road. So now we'll see that we had a type step recorded, which was typing our name into the form here. And we can verify this step by clicking the play icon and we'll see it run that step for us in the browser.

Next is the email field. So we'll go ahead and repeat what we did, click type, and then I'm going to type in my email and we're good. We'll see that that was recorded and I can click the confirm button again. We'll say not sure because we aren't sure. And then if we wanted to test the step, we could click the play icon here.

Last is what we want to automate. We'll go ahead and record another type step and give a brief description of what we want to automate. Um, so maybe we want to scrape, I don't know, popular. Businesses from a city search. What? I don't know. Yellow pages, Yelp, Google, et cetera. Then we can confirm this step again.

Not sure if it's a variable. Um, and we are basically done. Last thing here is just clicking the submit button. So since these all were type steps, trying to type something, Clicking the submit button is probably going to be a click step. We'll go ahead and record that over here. So we'll click, click here.

And then on the right, we just need to click an element. We'll see the green border kind of telling us again, what we're hovering over, what we're going to click. I'll click submit. And then now we'll see that it found the element and we can confirm this step here or on the left over here. I'll go ahead and confirm on the left, just cause that's what we've been doing.

And then we'll see that click has happened. Um, and we're there, we're good to go. We have built our first automation. So I'll go ahead and click continue and then say I'm done. And if we wanted to, we can go ahead and see this automation run. It's going to go to taskmagic. com type our name, type our email.

Type what we want to build and then click the submit button. So I'll go ahead and click play steps here and we'll see it go through that.
