Step 2- Scroll down the page from top to bottom then select Confirm button to record the step. Click play

All right, so we're going to go over the scroll down step, which is another type of step that we have in our automations are available to our automations. So the scroll down step on the left here is towards the bottom. It's something that there are different reasons we may want to record a scroll down step versus we're able to add it later.

So if we want to perform a scroll down inside of a pop up or in a very specific part of the page, maybe like the left side or the right side, we'd want to make sure that we record this scroll down step so that Task Magic knows where to scroll instead of just scrolling the entire browser like this. So in this example, I'm going to record a scroll down step of scrolling down this page.

And to do that, I'm going to click scroll down over here. And if we're not seeing this list of options here, we can also click the plus the green plus icon, and then we'll see scroll down. But since I see that, I'll just go ahead and click it from here. Now what we see is we see on the page that it is telling us to click where we want to scroll.

So I'm going to click the main page here and then I'm also going to scroll so that we see this blue border highlight and tell us that our automation has captured what we want to scroll down on. Then I'll confirm this step and I'll add a default value that there's already 10 here, but I'm going to change this just to five and then we can click play.
