Have an issue running your automation? Check these three steps.
Troubleshooting Automation Issues: A Step-by-Step Guide”
Step one: Check the account you’re logging into to connect to TaskMagic.
Make sure you have the proper login credentials then do the task you’re trying to automate within TaskMagic.
Make sure you are not doing this in TaskMagic. Do this task manually in the web like you normally would and verify everything works (i.e., log in like you normally would on Instagram, OpenPhone, LinkedIn etc.) In this example its ChatGPT. I click on the icon; I log in with my credentials and once I see I'm logged in that means I'm good to go.
Step Two: Allow Errors on the steps that you see that might be erroring.
Video on how to allow error
When you run an automation and there’s an error, there will be a notification indicating on what step this error occurred on. Press the 3 dots on that step and mark the “Allow Error” box.
Step Three: Hit Play Steps and see if the issue is fixed.
If you hit “Play Steps” and the automation is still failing, you can try these 3 alternatives. The first 2 will be located in the 3 dots found in the step that's causing the issue.
You can try by Update selectors (click on the link for more information).
